How long do the fish oils last before they expire?
All of our fish oils are 100% pure, natural and contain no preservatives. Please remember to store your fish oil in the fridge. For guaranteed freshness, serve the oil within 90-days of opening. Unopened and unexposed to extreme heat, the oil will remain fresh for approximately two years from the date of production.
You will find the best before dates lightly printed on the bottle.
I'm having trouble releasing the pump. What should I do?
Grip the ribbed portion of the pump with your fingers, you can reach under the grip and hold onto the stem of the pump (where the spring sits in the clear hub) and hold there to turn. Turn the pump to the left to release it. If it remains a little stubborn you can run it under a little hot water to let the plastic expand a bit and it should be much easier to allow it to open.
How much do I serve my pet daily?
The amount of you would feed your pet is based on your pet's body weight. On each label, there is a recommended serving chart for you to follow. Your pet may require more or less than what is recommended depending on the severity of symptoms.
Will I start to see results right away?
Results are noticed at different timeframes. While some are in a few days, others may take weeks. There are many factors that contribute to the success of holistic remedies. What color is the fish oils supposed to be?
All of our oils are 100% natural and derived from wild fish, so the color may vary, depending on what Mother Nature provides. They can vary from a pale yellowish color to rich amber color. The consistency of the oil can change too. We don't believe in using additives or anything to alter the oil's natural state.
Is it normal that my oil thickened?
Yes, the cool temperature of the fridge can cause the oil to thicken. Simply leave the bottle out in a safe place for a few minutes, up to 30 to help it liquify again.
What is the shelf-life of the glucosamine?
All of our liquid glucosamine products have approximately a 2-year shelf-life from the date of production. You will find the best before dates lightly printed on the neck or the base of the bottle.
Do I need to refrigerate the glucosamine?
Our premium glucosamine line, which is the liquid glucosamine in the blue bottle, does not need to be refrigerated. It's a different blend with additional vitamins and minerals that will crystallize if it's left in cool temperatures.
If you notice the liquid crystalize, simply lock the pump or put the lid back on the bottle and give it a light shake. Additionally, if the liquid in the pump gets backed up, you can rinse it and pump through clean, warm water. Our pumps are also dishwasher safe.
Our original glucosamine, which is the liquid glucosamine in the white bottle should be stored at a cooler temperature. Please, refrigerate after opening.
How long will a bottle last my pet?

I am new to the formula, how do I start?
On the label is a chart that indicates the serving amount per day for several weight ranges.
How much do I serve?
This is a very powerful formula. Please, start your fur angel off with half the recommended serving offered on the chart on the label for the first 7 days and then move them up to their full serving suggestion. Even if your pet has been on probiotics previously, there is no complete formula like this one for pets and the body's digestive system needs time gently detoxify, slowly.
How many times do I serve per day?
The amount on the chart which can be found on the label will indicate the full day's serving suggestion.
Can the serving size be split up?
Yep! Actually, if your pet eats more than one meal a day we highly suggest splitting evenly between all the meals. This is because the digestive enzymes in the blend must be served with the meal to reap their benefits.
Why does this need refrigeration?
This Premium formula actually uses live cultures for the probiotics instead of "fermentation product". The strains are in a dormant state in the airtight jar but once opened the jar needs to be kept cold to keep the probiotics live. (Similar to yogurt except without the spoilage of other ingredients, which makes this better than yogurt!)
Where is the expiration date?
Pure Digestion actually has a manufacture date and not an expiration date. The date can be found on the label in white ink right with the LOT#. This date indicates when the batch was made. We guarantee the live cultures and enzymes for 2 years of the date printed. This includes unopened and opened jars which are properly stored in the fridge after opening and only exposed to warmer temperatures when in use.
I see this has turmeric, I am concerned about staining!
Yep! We include organic turmeric root for its amazing anti-inflammatory properties. But as you are aware, turmeric is also popular as a natural dye because of it's powerful staining quality to make things golden.

Are the treats soft?
That depends on your choice of treat.
Pure Fish & Lobster Treats: If your pet has little to no teeth, jaw concerns or mouth pain these treats won't be the best choice unless you break the treat into a fine powder or small pieces that can be licked up and swallowed whole or added to the daily meal.
Pets with dental concerns, we suggest you consider our Freeze-dried Salmon treats which are much softer and easy on the mouth.

Yes! We don't add any bulking or binding agents to any of our treats. All treats are 100% natural and dry, which may cause breakage and powder from the treats at the bottom of their container. The broken pieces or meat-powder make delicious and nutritious meal toppers!
How do I know which ones to choose for the size of my pet?
Nibs for large and small breeds. Fish, Lobster, and Kelp for all sizes. Cod for medium to large breeds. Salmon Treats for all sizes and helpful for pets with dentition problems.
Are there any dental health benefits of the treats?
The crunchy treats will help scrape and activate the gums for healthy oral hygiene support. Your pet's breath may smell a little fishy immediately after, but will actually help with bad breath in the long run.

I am a veterinary technician and I feed my animals a raw/ wholefood based diet. I'm always looking for supplements to keep up with their health. I had a case of the itchies for my 5 mo old bulldog and my 12 year old jack mix. I started using this salmon oil and after about 2 weeks the itching subsided after consistently giving it to my dogs once a day. My bulldog pup weighs 40lbs and my jack mix is about 13lbs.
